Melvin Glenn Williams passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence.
Glenn was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to John and Virgie Williams on June 13, 1943. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars, fishing , and most of all family. He and his family lived in Gautier for the past 48 years. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after many years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ; mother and father-in-law, Forrest Lynn Langley and Jewel Krech Langley; grandson, Derek Scott Williams.
He is survived by , his wife of 56 years, Lynette Langley Williams of Gautier, Ms; three children, Johnny L. Williams, Anthony (Tony) Glenn Williams and his wife Michelle of Vancleave, MS and Kimberly Renee Diaz and her husband Donald Lee of Moss Point, MS; a sister, Gloria V. McKenzie of McComb, MS. survivors also include, Angella Nacole Stewart and husband Joseph of Ocean Springs, MS, Laura Ann Wilson ( Sonny) of Brooklyn, MS , Brooke Ariel Sepulveda (Andres F.) of Vancleave, MS , Zachary Glenn William of Vancleave, MS, Katelyn Joann Williams of Vancleave, MS, Donald Lee Diaz Jr. of Gautier, MS , Britttany Jewel Breaton (Trevin) of Gautier , MS and Christopher Eric Diaz of Gautier, MS; 4 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, 2 nephews and 1 niece; two very close friends, Mike Chapman and Urban Malagarie.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 12:30- 2:00pm at Gautier O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2 pm and interment will conclude at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com.
