Willie (Timer) Frank Bailey was born May 10, 1950 in Claiborne County, Mississippi. Frank was the son of Bee and Katie Bailey. He departed this life on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the age of 69.
Frank accepted Christ at an early age. He joined and was baptized at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Natchez, Mississippi.
He was a 1968 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School in Natchez, Mississippi. After high school, Frank joined the United States Army, where he served honorably for four years.
After moving to Moss Point, Frank joined First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where he was a dedicated and devoted member. He was a church trustee, member of the choir and served as the treasurer in the finance department for more than thirty years. He fulfilled all his duties and responsibilities until recently when his health failed.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Bee and Katie Baily; his grandparents, Frank and Martha Bailey and Monroe and Etta Terry; two sisters, Grace and Martha; one brother, Monroe Bailey; a daughter, Elizabeth Bailey.
Left to cherish his memories are a devoted and loving wife of 30 years, Clara Bailey; seven sons, Marion (Chucky) and Lakeshia Ellis, Gautier, MS, Dewayne (Sport) Barnes, Moss Point, Jarvis (grandson raised as a son) and Doresha Shepherd, Ridgeland, MS, June Banks, Georgia, Rico Banks, New York, Rodney and Zanika, Pascagoula, MS; three daughters, Roneta Banks, Moss Point, MS, Gleneast Banks, Tuss Banks, GA; two grandsons, Kendon Ellis, Barack Obama Banks; one great-grandson, Jarvis Shepherd II; two granddaughters, Paulina Robinson and McKenzie Robinson; two godchildren, Tarcarus Jackson, Gulfport, MS, Roneta Molden, North Carolina; three sisters, Belinda Thomas, Fayette, MS, Tena and Johnny Anderson, Fayette, MS, Etta and Lee Anderson, Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Terry Bailey, San Bernardino, CA, Kenneth and Eliza Baily, College Park, GA, Charles Bailey, Moss Point, MS;; four sisters-in-law, Sara White, Fayette, MS, Annie White, Slidell, MS, Mary Holmes, Natchez, MS, and Hannah and Marvin Blanton, Natchez, MS; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; Special friends, Gerald Causey, Terry Kimbrough and Edgar Powe, Jr.
