Brenda Haas Krebs

Brenda Haas Krebs, 78, of Pascagoula passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020. She was born June 8, 1941 in Pascagoula, MS to John and Esther Haas. She was a retiree of Ingalls Shipbuilding and member of O.L.V. in Pascagoula. In 1999 she became a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 160 in Pascagoula. During that time, she served as President from 2006-2008 and again in 2011-2013. She also had the honor serving as their queen in 2007.

Mrs. Krebs is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby T. Krebs Sr.; and daughter, Susie Taylor.

Mrs. Krebs is survived by her children, Bobby T. (Julie) Krebs Jr. of Pascagoula, MS; Teresa (John) Sailors of Pascagoula, MS; and Adrienne Von Krebs of New Hampshire. Ten grandchildren, Nikki Moore of Redmond, WA; Anna Hamilton of Gautier, MS; Laurel (Caleb) Snyder of Pascagoula, MS; Suzanne Sailors of Pascagoula, MS; Colten (Heather) Lander of Semmes, AL; Kalee Sailors of Pascagoula, MS; Christopher, Jason and Michael Von Krebs-Cintorino and Danielle Von Krebs all of New Hampshire. Four great grandchildren, Maya Hamilton, Gavin Butler, Blakeleigh Saksa and Lillie Grace Lander. Brothers John and Grover Jann (Marianne) Haas and sister Chris Saucier; along with a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Skilled Nursing Unit at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS for the great care they provided during her illness. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, 1:00-2:00pm, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Monsignor John McGrath officiating.
