Clarence Earl Chavers

Clarence Earl Chavers passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 In Pascagoula, MS at the age of 63.

Clarence was born on November 20, 1958 in Brewton, AL.  to Alton and Mary Chavers.    After his time in the United States Army he spent most of his adult life on the road as a truck driver. He loved hunting and fishing and in his brief life did just about everything, including owning and running his own shrimp boat. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Alton Chavers; a brother, John R. Howell and a son, Clarence E. Chavers Jr.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Johnson of Gautier; his mother, Mary Ellen Ellison; daughter, Chelsea Williams; step daughter, Salena Knight; siblings, Esther Darlene Wilson (Christopher), Becky Hemphill (Tom), Timmy Foster (Bridgett) and Jerry Foster; 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday at 2:30pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with visitation one hour prior. Interment will conclude at Coleman Cemetery in Hurley, MS. Condolences may be expressed online at www.obryantokeefe.com
