Craig Johnathan Rockwell

Craig J. Rockwell, age 48, of Pascagoula, Mississippi passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 15, 2021.

He was born February 9, 1973 in Pascagoula and resided here all his life. During his working career, Craig was a Boat Foreman at Ingalls’s Ship Building in Pascagoula, MS. One of his favorite things to do was spend time on the river, and being surrounded by nature. He was a family man through and through, who always made time for his loved ones. Our hearts are broken by his passing, but know we will see him again one day.

Craig was preceded in death by his brother Randy Rockwell; grandfather's, Thomas Rockwell and C.F. Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, V Rockwell of Pascagoula, MS; parents, Steve Rockwell of Alabama, and Maxine Mohning (Paul) of Pascagoula, MS; children, Hunter Rockwell (Miranda) of Alabama; Katelyn Cooper (Jack) of Moss Point, MS, Randye Rockwell of Alabama, step-son, Justin Plant of Texas; step-daughter, Lauren Plant of Pascagoula, MS; grandmother’s, Louise Rockwell Harper (R.B.) and Willie Mae Roberts; brothers, Tracy Rockwell of Pascagoula, MS, and Steven Rockwell of Alabama; sister, Tiffany Neill (Josh) of Alabama; grandchildren, Fisher Rockwell and Madelyn Rockwell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends and loved ones Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 3:00pm-4:00pm with a memorial service to follow at O’Bryant O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Please keep the family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
