Jessie Lott

Jessie Rae Lott, age 59, of Vancleave passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at home with his family.  Jessie was born September 30, 1961 in Petal, Mississippi and graduated from Petal High School in 1979. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi and was a Mechanical Design Drafter for 14 years at Pontchartrain Mechanical.  

Jessie was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Petal and enjoyed attending the church’s annual homecoming.  He currently attended First Baptist Church of Vancleave and enjoyed servicing in many areas of the church.  Jessie was involved with cruising the coast for many years with great friends and was a true antique car enthusiast. He loved his family greatly and enjoyed serving the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Merle B. Lott, father, Arthur W. Lott, Jr., and his loving wife, Angie Lee Lott. 

Jessie survived by his devoted son and daughter in law, Nathan and Julia Lott; son, Dallas Meyers; grandchildren, Gabrielle Seal, Manuel and Mercedes Seymour, Mason and Walker Meyers; brother, Jimmy (Patricia) Lott ; nephews, Robert and James; niece, Michelle; numerous great nephews and nieces, other relatives and many great friends. 

Visitation will be Monday, April 12, 2021, 4:00-6:00pm, at First Baptist Church in Vancleave. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00pm with Pastor Brent Parker officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to First Baptist Church Vancleave Sunday School Ministry in honor of Jessie R. Lott.
