Willie B Tucei, 95, of Gautier, MS passed away peacefully at her home on Friday , February 23, 2024.
Willie was a country girl born in Craig County, Virginia on a farm on October 30, 1928, to Grover and Louie Eakin. She married Lawrence Tucei in 1955 in Maryland. Being an army wife, she lived in various places over the years. In 1971 they moved to Gautier, that would be her last move for the next 53 years Gautier was their home. Willie was the sweetest and kindest woman, always thinking of others. She was a homemaker and loved animals and flowers. She was happy and content whether inside her home or outside planting flowers. Every spring she could be seen planting flowers around her home. This was her happy place, a place that she made a home for her husband and children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence D. Tucei Sr; brothers, John Eakin, Gordon Eakin, Ralph Eakin; sisters, Eleanor, Delores, Irene, Ethel, Sue, Murial, Melba, and Margaret Eakin.
She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Jr., Mark and Brian Tucei; granddaughter, Danielle Wickstrom; great grandsons, Collen and Carter and great- great-grandson, Keysen.
