Robert Brian Eubanks Obituary

Mr. Robert Brian Eubanks Sr. age 50 of Pascagoula, MS, known to all as Brian or Eubie, passed away quietly on Monday evening Aug. 10, 2020.  Born Oct. 9, 1969 in Pascagoula to Jerry LeRoy Eubanks and Barbara Pierce Veil, he was a lifelong resident of Pascagoula.  His formative years were spent growing up in the shadow of the shipyards, playing ball with his friends and hunting and fishing in the Pascagoula River Swamp. Brian graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1987.  He went to work for Ingall’s Shipbuilding and advanced to a production analyst, he also spent several years assisting the Jackson County Coroners Office.  In 2017 Brian began working with O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home, he loved being around people and people loved being around him.  In April of this year, he joined the shipbuilding team at VT Halter Marine.  Immediately following high school, Brian married his high school sweetheart Pamela Duren on August 22, 1987.  Brian and Pam spent almost 33 years as husband and wife raising their three wonderful children.  He loved life, the experiences and the people he encountered made him happy.   Brian enjoyed several hobbies, including cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, cussing at golf balls and having a cold Bud Light with friends.  He will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Brian was preceded in death by his father Jerry LeRoy Eubanks in 2003, and Pam’s mother Barbara Linam Duren in 2013.

Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life Pamela D. Eubanks; daughter Ashton Daughdrill and her husband Jonathon, son USMC Reservist Bo Eubanks, daughter Alex Eubanks all of Pascagoula, MS; his mother Barbara Veil and her husband, Glen “Pops”  of Lucedale, MS; one  brother,  Lance Eubanks and his wife Michelle of Ocean Springs, MS; two sisters Lisa Linder and her husband Wayne, Leighann Veil all of Nashville, TN; the apple of his eye, his grandson Jax Daughdrill; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020 with Brother Dennis Ray Smith officiating.  Eulogy will be given by Billy Duren.  Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, Aug. 14 at the funeral home.  Due Covid 19, masks will be required at the funeral and staff may have to limit the number of visitors at any given time. Those who desire may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.  Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Hollingsworth, Jason Watts, Chip Larsen, Tim Cook, Cobby Kennedy and Jack Northrup.
