Telina Rockwell Birch

Telina Rockwell Birch, 61 of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away on February 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Telina fought a valiant battle with Breast Cancer for many years. She was born on September 21, 1962 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Thomas V. Rockwell and Louise Rockwell. Telina was a longtime resident of Pascagoula. She always loved her time at the beach in Destin, Florida with family and friends. After graduating in 1979 from Live Oak Academy, she joined the advertising staff of The Mississippi Press for 28 years. She then worked 12 years in Administration for Ingalls where she retired due to her illness.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas V. Rockwell; nephews, Randy Rockwell and Craig Rockwell; and great niece Kaitlynn Cherry.

She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Brittany (Candace) Wells and Briana Bosarge, grandchildren, Finley Bosarge, Rush Bosarge and Kinsley Wells, whom she loved with all her heart and spoiled as much as possible. She is also survived by her mother, Louise Rockwell Harper, her brother, Steve Rockwell, sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Nick Nicolosi, Sheila and Ray Medina, her best friend, Brenda Sasser, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024 at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula from 10:30 am -12 noon. The Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 12:00pm with Rev. J R Alexander and Rev. Zane Estis officiating. Internment will conclude at Machpelah Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Marty Estis, Steven Rockwell, Shawn Bosarge, Jeremy Carter, Ryan Earley and Josh Neill. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Rockwell, Ray Medina, Nick Nicolosi and Tracy Rockwell.
