Vicki Walker Russell Sims

Vicki Walker Russell Sims, 67, of Ocean Springs, Ms. passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her home. She was a mother and wife. Vicki was born on December 29, 1955 in Pascagoula, Ms. Vicki was a 1974 graduate of Pascagoula High School. She married her High School sweetheart, Randy Russell, after graduation. They had 3 lovely children. She was preceded in death by her first husband Randy Russell; her parents, Jimmy Walker and Bessie Walker.

Vicki is survived by her husband, David, of 27 years; two daughters Wendy Russell Lake (Matt) of Canton, Georgia and Kacie Russell of Lucedale, Ms.; one son, Joshua John Russell of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandsons, Cooper Lake, Brody Lake, Hudson Bailey and one granddaughter Mollie Christian; one sister Keely Ray (Scott) of Lucedale and one sister-n-law, Sylvia Pelley (Dick) of Athens Tennessee.

She enjoy Reading, Archery, Sightseeing, Bowling, watching movies and any animal show on T.V.. She had a passion for animals. She loved cats and horses. Once she retired, she wanted to buy a horse and just watch it graze and groom it all day.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023, 1:00-2:00pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.  Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel.  Committal service will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, MS.  You may send condolences to her family or share a memory about Vicki on the Tribute Wall.
