Wesley D. Moody

Wesley Dewett Moody, 65, of Moss Point, MS, passed away on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024. He was born on December 26th, 1958, in Belzoni, MS, to Hershel and Iva (Robertson) Moody.

He is survived by his wife Janet Barnett Moody; son Wesley C. Moody (Melanie); daughter Kate Moody; grandchildren Junior Moody, Wyleah Moody, and William Moody; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Moody is preceded in death by his parents Hershel and Iva Moody; one brother; and one sister.

The funeral for Mr. Moody will be Monday, March 25th, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in Athens Al, at 11:00 a.m., with Gary Anderson officiating. The visitation will be Sunday, March 24th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brent Harville, Corey Siniard, Michael Barnett, Mynor Francisco, Taylor Francisco, and Faith Ann Harville. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Moody loved computers, building and working on things, and he loved picking on people. He was just a jack-of-all-trades who enjoyed working with his hands. He was a loving man and a loving husband.
